Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Transport Admin Officer to support day‑to‑day transportation operations at our project site in Qatar. The role involves managing vehicle documentation, coordinating driver schedules, tracking fleet availability, and ensuring compliance with company and client requirements. This is a site‑based position that requires strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle availability, registrations, inspections, and certifications
  • Coordinate vehicle allocation, mobilization, and demobilization according to project needs
  • Prepare daily and weekly transport reports for management and clients
  • Ensure validity of all transport‑related documents, including driver licenses, IDs, and training records
  • Monitor vehicle performance, breakdowns, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules
  • Work closely with logistics and workshop teams to track vehicle status and repairs
  • Arrange driver schedules, attendance tracking, and deployment for manpower and material movements
  • Support audits and inspections related to transportation compliance
  • Maintain proper filing systems for all transport-related documentation

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transport Management, or similar field (preferred)
  • 3–5 years of experience in transport administration or fleet coordination within the Oil & Gas, EPC, or construction sectors
  • Familiarity with fleet procedures, heavy/light vehicle management, and compliance requirements
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, ERP/fleet tracking systems)
  • Good documentation and reporting abilities
  • Experience working in multicultural, site-based environments
