Shared Services Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

The Shared Services Analyst acts as a lead within the Shared Services team, providing support for escalated inquiries, mentoring junior staff, and beginning to perform HR data analysis and reporting. The Analyst ensures the smooth functioning of HR processes, supports strategic initiatives, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a lead within the Shared Services team.
  • Supporting escalated HR inquiries and troubleshooting.
  • Mentoring and training junior staff.
  • Performing HR data analysis and generating reports.
  • Collaborating with HR leadership on strategic initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Participating in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Backing up the Shared Services roles.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: HR Certification preferred (SHRM or HRCI)


EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-8 years of experience in HR or shared services roles.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with HR systems and data management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive data with confidentiality and accuracy.
