A growing High-tech business looking for a qualified, motivated individual to join our team as a Sheet Metal Designer

Requirements:

• Mechanical Design and Development of sheet metal enclosures, frames, sub-assemblies and assemblies.
• Solid Works experience a plus
• Ability to use measuring tools to ensure quality
• Ability to interpret blueprints
• Mechanical aptitude
• Must be proficient in shop mathematics in order to calculate tool offsets, home positions and verify print dimensions. Has a basic understanding of geometry and trigonometry.
• A minimum of 3 years overall experience in a manufacturing environment
• Basic computer (PC) literacy to include beginning skills in MS Word and MS Excel
• Organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Adhere to all safety & good housekeeping practices
• Ability to come to work as scheduled & work extra hours as needed in order to meet customer requirements
• Ability to follow instructions and follow through consistently
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to work as a team to achieve company objectives

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
