Job Overview
We are currently seeking experienced Sheet Metal Workers to join our team in a shop environment fabricating ductwork for HVAC systems. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in sheet metal fabrication who take pride in producing high-quality work. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality sheet metal components used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Your expertise will help ensure precise assembly, adherence to safety standards, and timely delivery of custom ductwork and mechanical assemblies. Pay & Benefits
- Up to $45 per hour, based on experience

Overtime & Premium Pay
- Overtime paid at time and a half after 8 hours in a day
- Double time after 12 hours in the same day
- Saturdays paid at time and a half, regardless of whether 40 hours have been worked during the week
- Sundays paid at double time, regardless of whether 40 hours have been worked during the week
Qualifications
- Experience in sheet metal fabrication or ductwork production preferred
- Ability to read shop drawings and use measuring tools
- Experience operating sheet metal shop equipment is a plus
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Fabricate HVAC ductwork and sheet metal components in a shop setting
- Read and interpret shop drawings and specifications
- Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment (shears, brakes, rollers, etc.)
- Measure, cut, and assemble sheet metal materials accurately
- Maintain quality standards and a safe work environment
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate sheet metal components for HVAC systems.
- Operate power tools such as press brakes, plasma cutters, and sheet metal shears to cut, bend, and shape materials according to specifications.
- Use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet strict dimensional tolerances.
- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <LOCATION> welding techniques to assemble ductwork and mechanical parts following ASME codes & standards.
- Fabricate ductwork, fittings, and assemblies using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment while maintaining high quality standards.
- Conduct rigging and pipe threading tasks safely when handling large or complex components on construction sites or in manufacturing settings.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols related to construction site experience, welding practices, and equipment operation.
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction sites, fabrication environments, or manufacturing facilities involving sheet metal work.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding techniques, with knowledge of <LOCATION> welding processes.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately; familiarity with schematics related to HVAC systems is a plus.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment for fabrication tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge including rigging, pipe threading, soldering, and assembly of ductwork components.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication; experience with calipers and micrometers is required.
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to HVAC fabrication; ability to interpret technical specifications confidently.
- Experience operating forklifts or other lifting equipment is advantageous for handling large materials or assemblies.
- Ability to follow safety procedures diligently on construction sites or manufacturing floors; familiarity with crane operation is beneficial.
