Shift Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Shift Supervisor to manage production activities during assigned shifts in our cable manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and hands-on experience in the cable industry, ensuring smooth operations, achieving production targets, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all production activities during the assigned shift.
• Ensure efficient operation of cable manufacturing machines and processes (such as wire drawing, bunching, extrusion, armoring, and winding).
• Plan and allocate manpower according to production schedules.
• Monitor daily output and ensure targets, quality, and delivery timelines are met.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Control, and Stores for smooth workflow.
• Check availability of raw materials, monitor machine performance, and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate production and shift handover reports.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and company procedures.
• Identify process improvements and support continuous productivity enhancement.
• Train and guide operators, helpers, and new staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Supervisor in the Cable Manufacturing Industry (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of cable manufacturing processes, materials, and machinery.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage shift-level manpower.
• Willing to work in rotational shifts.

Working Conditions:

• Factory floor environment with ongoing machine operations.
• Rotational shift work (morning / evening / night).
