Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
8–10 years of experience in Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) or automated systems.
Lead the team development and coach other shift leaders.
Lead the critical technical interventions and define root causes in a professional approach.
Identify obstacles that relate to the department and propose solutions.
Define risks and perform the required assessment.
Improve the maintenance routes to be aligned with the operational requirements.
Supervises the shift employees by overseeing their work, assessing their performance, enforcing policies and corrective measures, being the point of contact for questions, complaints, and concerns, and leading by example.
Manages and executes the planned maintenance activities, leads, and sets the direction of the maintenance team.
Ensures that employees comply with the company rules, standards, and key values at VI (acts as a role model)

Assesses employees’ performance and behavior.
Sets priorities, distributes work and monitors progress and work quality.
Ensures timely and complete all the assigned tasks in the department based on the schedule and priorities issued by the maintenance manager/ and the planning team.
Ensure proper levels of supplies (spare parts, tools, and office supplies), and report the consumption to the maintenance manager on a daily/weekly basis.
Identifies issues and solves problems that disturb the daily operation.
Train and coach new employees and less experienced employees.
Assist and manage other areas as needed, required, or requested.
