Shipping Clerk – 1st Shift
Saline, MI | Full-Time | $20.34/hour

A well-established company in Saline is seeking a reliable Shipping Clerk to join their team! This role is perfect for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with strict packaging requirements per FAA standards
• Process domestic and international outgoing shipments
• Resolve discrepancies with customer services regarding missing units or incorrect unit information
• Schedule and manage outgoing shipments through various forwarding agents
• Use saws, drills, and hand tools to build and repair shipping crates
• Operate crate banding system, overhead crane, and forklift to organize shipping area and to crate large shipments
• Other duties as deemed necessary by management

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations
• Prior forklift operation experience
• Strong computer skills and past experience using UPS and FEDEX software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift
• Minimum high school diploma or GED required
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work in a team-oriented environment

Pay: From $20.34 per hour
