Transystems is hiring a Shop Coordinator in Drayton, ND to support our maintenance team by managing inventory, ordering parts, and ensuring timely distribution within the shop. This role is essential to reducing equipment downtime and keeping operations efficient and on schedule.

What You’ll Do:

• Create purchase orders (POs) and handle parts procurement
• Track and receive incoming shipments
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts
• Distribute parts to technicians and monitor stock levels
• Coordinate with vendors and maintain strong relationships
• Review timecards and repair orders (ROs) for correct parts usage
• Assist in scheduling preventive maintenance (PMs) with 24-hour notice
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and accounting departments

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Comfortable using basic computer systems and data entry
• Experience in parts or inventory management
• Ability to work well with others in a team-based, fast-paced shop environment
