Shopify Developer

We at The BranPac are seeking a Mid-Level Shopify Developer to lead the development, customization, and maintenance of advanced Shopify-based e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Shopify's ecosystem, including Shopify API, Liquid templating language, custom app development, and headless commerce architectures. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, project managers, and marketing teams to deliver seamless, high-performing digital experiences.

· Shopify Store Development and Customization: Developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify themes and templates to meet specific client requirements and branding guidelines using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

· App Development: Building and maintaining Shopify apps (public, private, embedded) using technologies like Node.js.

· API Integrations: Integrating third-party APIs (CRM, ERP, logistics, analytics, etc.) with Shopify.

· Performance Optimization: Optimizing website performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.

· Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identifying and resolving issues related to store performance, security, and third-party integrations.

· Collaboration: Working closely with designers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX design and functionality.

· Version Control and Deployment: Managing version control and deployment through Git or similar tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Experience: 2 - 3 years of professional experience with Shopify Plus, Shopify theme development, and Shopify APIs, Customization and app integration.

· Web Development Fundamentals: Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language).

· API Knowledge: Experience with Shopify APIs (REST, GraphQL, Storefront).

· Version Control: Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.

· Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.

· Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

· E-commerce Experience: Familiarity with e-commerce best practices, SEO, and user experience optimization.

· Open Source Contributions: Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile.
