Shopify Developer (Mid Level)

Job Overview: Techversol is looking for a talented and experienced Shopify Expert to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Shopify development, a deep understanding of e-commerce best practices, and the ability to create and manage high-performance Shopify stores. As a Shopify Expert, you will collaborate with our cross-functional team to deliver customized Shopify solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain custom Shopify stores based on client and project requirements.
• Customize Shopify themes and templates to meet branding and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality within Shopify.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify store performance, security, and integrations.
• Implement and integrate e-commerce features such as payment gateways, custom apps, and third-party solutions.
• Optimize Shopify stores for speed, scalability, mobile responsiveness, and SEO best practices.
• Integrate Shopify stores with external systems, such as ERP or CRM, to ensure seamless workflows.
• Conduct rigorous testing and quality assurance to ensure stability and functionality of Shopify implementations.
• Provide ongoing technical support and training to clients, content editors, and store owners.
• Stay up to date on Shopify features, trends, and best practices to provide the best solutions to clients.
• Document all customizations, configurations, and processes for future reference.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or Expert with a strong portfolio of Shopify stores.
• Proficiency in Shopify theme development, customization, and app integration.
• Strong knowledge of web development languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify’s templating language).
• Experience with Shopify Plus and custom Shopify app development is a plus.
• Familiarity with database management systems, especially MySQL.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with payment gateways and e-commerce integration.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Shopify development or a related field.
• Experience with e-commerce SEO best practices and strategies.
• Experience in integrating third-party apps or custom-built solutions with Shopify.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile is a plus.
