Job Overview

Mindwave Software House is looking for a Mid Level Web Developer (WordPress) with hands-on experience in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements
• Build responsive and user-friendly websites
• Optimize websites for performance and fast loading speed
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs
• Collaborate with the design and development team
• Convert UI/UX designs (Figma, XD, PSD) into fully functional WordPress websites
• Develop custom WordPress themes when required
• Integrate third-party APIs and plugins
• Manage website backups, security, and updates
• Optimize websites following SEO best practices
• Perform website testing and debugging before deployment
• Work with version control tools like Git (if required)
• Manage hosting, domain, and cPanel related tasks
• Implement website analytics and tracking tools (Google Analytics, etc.)
• Coordinate with project managers and designers to meet project deadlines
• Maintain documentation for website updates and changes

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in WordPress development
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP
• Experience with WordPress themes and plugin customization
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Basic understanding of SEO and website optimization
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot bugs and technical issues
