Role Overview

This position owns the backend workflows that keep our ecommerce operations accurate and running smoothly. You’ll manage product data and inventory inside Shopify, help build and maintain custom team stores, and support order fulfillment.

It’s a structured, detail-heavy role for someone who prefers clear processes, consistency, and responsibility for getting things right the first time. You’ll work directly with ownership and help improve systems as we continue transitioning fully to Shopify.

Key Responsibilities

Team Stores

  • Build, update, and maintain custom team stores using step-by-step procedures
  • Ensure all team products are correctly tagged, mapped to inventory, and priced
  • Track timelines and communicate with leadership about readiness status

Shopify Backend Operations

  • Maintain clean product data: titles, tags, variants, images, pricing, metafields
  • Keep inventory accurate between store stock and vendor availability
  • Identify errors or mismatches and fix them proactively
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation for repeatable accuracy

Order Fulfillment Support

  • Assist with online order fulfillment during peak periods
  • Audit orders for accuracy and prevent shipment errors
  • Flag out-of-stock issues quickly and follow internal communication steps

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail; comfortable following structured processes
  • Reliable, consistent, and able to work independently once trained
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to stay organized while handling multiple small tasks
  • Basic Shopify admin familiarity (Products, Collections, Inventory)

Preferred

  • Previous ecommerce or fulfillment experience
  • Comfort with spreadsheets
  • Bonus: basic HTML/Liquid/CSS understanding (not required)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Pay: $20.00–$24.00 DOE
  • Paid Time Off: Begins after 90 days (1 paid day/month; 12 days/year; August/September blackout during swim season)
  • Health Insurance: Basic coverage available

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
