Short-Form Video Editor (Remote)

Contract / Freelance | Paid Per Video | Fully Remote

We are hiring a Short-Form Video Editor to create high-performing video content for our social media pages and paid advertising campaigns (primarily Meta and TikTok).

This role is ideal for someone who is fast, creative, highly organized, and experienced with editing short-form content (10–60 seconds) that is designed to hold attention and drive results.

What You’ll Do

• Edit short-form videos for:
• Organic social media content
• Paid ad creatives (Meta, TikTok, etc.)
• Produce 75 videos per week to start
• Deliver all assigned videos for the week by Friday night
• Upload completed creatives into ad platforms (Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, etc.)
• Follow our creative/ad blueprint initially, then gradually take on more creative ownership
• Attend 2 weekly check-ins (minimum) until otherwise specified
• Revise and improve videos based on feedback
• Maintain consistent file naming, organization, and workflow practices

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience editing short-form videos (10–60 seconds)
• Experience creating content for performance marketing / paid ads is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager (or willingness to learn quickly)
• Ability to work fast without sacrificing quality
• Strong creative instincts (hooks, pacing, captions, visual flow, retention-focused editing)
• Comfortable receiving feedback and making quick adjustments
• Reliable and deadline-driven (weekly Friday delivery is non-negotiable)
• Able to follow a proven format/blueprint, then improve on it over time

Application Requirements

• Please include 3–5 examples of short-form videos you have edited in the past (preferred)
• Portfolio links or sample work are strongly encouraged
• Please note if you have experience uploading creatives into Meta Ads Manager and/or TikTok Ads Manager

Training / Onboarding

• A full week of training is required before beginning video production
• During training, we will walk you through our creative process, editing expectations, workflow, and ad upload process so you can succeed in the role

Compensation

• Paid on a per-video basis
• Rate will be discussed based on experience and quality of work

Work Setup

• Fully remote
• No location requirement
• Must have reliable internet and the ability to meet weekly deadlines consistently

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
