Social Media Producer, Editor & Content Creator

Position Overview

Now Church is seeking a creative, passionate, and mission-driven Social Media Producer, Editor & Content Creator to capture and tell the story of what God is doing in our house each week.

This person will be responsible for filming and creating engaging digital content every Sunday and during special events. The ideal candidate understands storytelling, church culture, short-form video trends, and how to turn powerful in-person moments into impactful online content.

This role is essential in helping Now Church extend its reach beyond the building and into the digital world.

Key Responsibilities Content Capture (Weekly – Sundays)

• Capture video content pre-service, during service, and post-service
• Film worship moments, sermon highlights, crowd engagement, altar calls, baptisms, and candid community interactions
• Capture behind-the-scenes and atmosphere footage
• Coordinate with leadership to identify key moments worth highlighting

Editing & Creation

• Edit and produce 2 high-quality reels per Sunday
• Create engaging short-form vertical videos optimized for Instagram and other social platforms
• Add captions, subtitles, transitions, music, and branding elements
• Ensure content reflects Now Church’s tone, vision, and values
• Maintain consistency in visual style and storytelling

Content Organization

• Upload all raw footage each Sunday to a designated Dropbox folder
• Organize files by date and event
• Maintain an accessible digital archive of all captured content

Special Events Coverage

• Capture and edit content for conferences, outreach events, baptisms, holidays, and special services
• Deliver recap reels and promotional clips when needed

Qualifications

• Experience in video production and editing (portfolio required)
• Proficiency in editing software (CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, etc.)
• Strong understanding of short-form video trends and social media platforms
• Ability to capture high-quality audio and video in live environments
• Strong storytelling ability
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Able to work independently and meet weekly deadlines
• Comfortable working in a church environment and aligned with Christian values

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a church or ministry setting
• Knowledge of Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts optimization
• Ability to take creative direction while also bringing fresh ideas
• Photography skills (a plus)

Time Commitment

• Sundays (in-person required)
• Special church events (as scheduled)
• Editing time during the week to complete deliverables

Deliverables

• One 30-second and one 60-second edited reels per Sunday
• All raw footage uploaded to Dropbox weekly
• Event recap content as needed
