Job Description
The Showroom Manager & Senior Design Coordinator is a client-facing, revenue-driving leadership role responsible for managing the showroom experience, supporting the design trade, coordinating drapery and window treatment orders, and actively contributing to company sales growth. This role blends showroom leadership, senior-level design coordination, trade relationship development, and sales team support into one high-impact position.
This individual serves as a key connector between designers, clients, sales staff, and operations—ensuring a seamless experience from first meeting through order completion while helping elevate team capability and trade relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Showroom Leadership & Client Experience
- Manage and cover the showroom Tuesday–Thursday, 11:00am–7:00pm
- Welcome, engage, and service walk-in clients with professionalism and confidence
- Schedule consultations and appointments for sales designers and sales staff
- Maintain a polished, organized, and design-forward showroom environment
- Act as the primary point of contact for showroom inquiries and traffic
Senior Design Coordination & Sales to The Trade
- Meet with designers and their clients in the showroom and in homes to:
- Review product options and design solutions
- Finalize selections and specifications
- Prepare and present quotes
- Close sales when appropriate
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and follow-through on all selections and client communications
Design Trade Business Development
- Build, service, and grow relationships with interior designers, builders, and trade partners
- Dedicate Mondays and Fridays to:
- Outside appointments (designer offices, job sites, client homes)
- Trade outreach and prospecting
- Relationship-building and follow-up
- Position the company as a trusted design partner through expertise and responsiveness
Drapery Coordination & Order Processing
- Provide senior-level support to in-house designers on drapery projects
- Process drapery orders for the sales team and design staff
- Review orders for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with design intent
- Act as a technical and product resource for drapery and window treatment solutions
- Troubleshoot order questions and provide guidance prior to submission
- Ensure accuracy, clarity and follow-through
Collaboration & Growth
- Partner closely with sales staff, installers, and operations to ensure smooth execution
- Contribute to company-wide sales initiatives and growth goals
- Help to reinforce a positive, professional, and high-performance team culture
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in interior design, window treatments, showroom management, or trade sales
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Comfortable with client interaction, quoting, and closing
- Detail-oriented with a high level of follow-through
- Relationship-driven with a collaborative mindset
- Able to balance showroom leadership with outside business development

Compensation & Benefits
- Full-time, hourly position
- Base salary + bonus structure
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
