Shuttering Carpenter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing wood and other materials to create or repair structures, furniture, and fixtures, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, laminates, and other materials.
• Construct, install, and repair furniture, cabinets, doors, windows, and wooden structures.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Maintain woodworking equipment and tools in good condition.
• Ensure work is completed with attention to detail and according to quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols on the job site to prevent accidents.
• Collaborate with team members, designers, and supervisors for project completion.
• Estimate material requirements and assist in procurement if needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks.
• Knowledge of wood types, laminates, and other materials.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Education & Certification:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry preferred.
• Relevant certifications in carpentry or woodworking are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,200.00 per month
