Shuttering Carpenter

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, assemble, and fit formwork for concrete structures such as columns, beams, slabs, walls, and foundations.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Build and dismantle shuttering/formwork according to project requirements.
• Ensure accuracy and proper alignment of formwork before concrete pouring.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.
• Maintain quality standards and follow safety protocols at all times.
• Repair, clean, and reuse shuttering materials.
• Collaborate with site engineers, supervisors, and other workers to ensure timely completion.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a shuttering/formwork carpenter.
• Knowledge of different shuttering systems (timber, plywood, steel, aluminum).
• Ability to read construction drawings and technical instructions.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging site conditions.
• Basic knowledge of safety procedures and use of PPE.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
