Job description

Maintain the building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests and associates. Also provide excellent customer service while driving the shuttle to and from the Sacramento International Airport.

Responsibilities

Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may include taking supplies directly to room attendants.
Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors. Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned by supervisor.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
Provide shuttle service within a 5-mile radius of the hotel when approved by management.
Clean and maintain hotel shuttle.
Drive hotel vehicle(s) as assigned and must have a Valid Drivers licenses with no DWI/DUI on their record.
Drive safely, within posted speed limits and in a defensive manner.
Report any vehicle problems to management immediately, i.e., problems with brakes, wipers, lights, tires, etc.
Pickup and or drop-off guests at the airport.
Assist guests by loading and unloading luggage.
Record details of trips such as destinations, passengers, etc.
Ensure vehicle(s) are properly maintained, fueled, and clean - inside and out.
May be required to perform minor repair, maintenance, and trouble-shooting, i.e.change flat tires, charge batteries, etc.
Maintain security for guests and property by ensuring doors are locked.
Assisting with cleaning any areas of the hotel as assigned by the manager when needed to include but not limited to font desk, associate break room, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells and common areas.
Responsible for maintaining overall hotel cleanliness.
Other duties as requested by the management team.
