Signage Board Service Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Mount signs, panels, and letters onto walls, facades, and poles according to design specifications and client requirements.
• Electrical Work: Wire and connect lighting, LEDs, and other electrical components for illuminated signs.
• Maintenance & Repair: Conduct routine maintenance, adjustments, and repairs to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of signs.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including those for working at heights, handling tools, and managing electrical components.
• Site Management: Prepare installation sites by removing old signage and ensuring surfaces are ready for new installations.
• Quality Control: Inspect installed signs to ensure they meet design specifications, quality standards, and are free of defects.
• Tool & Equipment Management: Gather, maintain, and operate necessary tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

Required Skills

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in installing and maintaining various types of signs, such as digital, LED, acrylic, and vinyl.
• Electrical Knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical components and how to connect them safely for illuminated signs.
• Craftsmanship: Attention to detail and the ability to perform skilled work with tools and materials.
• Physical Fitness: Stamina and the ability to work at heights and maneuver materials safely.
• Safety Awareness: A strong commitment to following safety regulations and procedures.
• Organizational Skills: The ability to organize tools, materials, and work areas for efficient installation.
