Site Civil Engineer

Job Description/Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and organizing daily site activities.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Ensure availability of manpower, materials, and equipment as per schedule.
• Supervise site workers, subcontractors, and technical teams.
• Conduct daily site inspections and maintain quality control.
• Ensure all work is carried out as per approved standards, codes, and procedures.
• Implement and monitor safety measures to prevent accidents on site.
• Conduct quality checks on materials and workmanship.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Resolve technical issues that arise on site in coordination with consultants.
• Maintain site records, daily progress reports, and material consumption logs.
• Monitor material deliveries and usage to prevent wastage.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials.
• Act as a link between site staff, management, and consultants/clients.
• Attend site meetings to discuss progress, issues, and solutions.
• Communicate project updates and technical advice to the workforce.
• Report work progress, delays, and issues to the project manager.
• Prepare work inspection requests (WIR) and material inspection requests (MIR) for consultant approval.
• Take immediate corrective action to avoid any cumulative effect of such deviation and recover the delay to finish the task in due time.
• To take project wise quantity and prepare drawing for the same.
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring completion within the required time schedule.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with construction site regulations and approvals.
• Proven working experience in construction sites.
• Valid UAE Driving license is an advantage.
• Expertise in reading plans and blueprints.
• A strong understanding of civil engineering methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Outstanding project management abilities.
• Computer skills in MS Office, AutoCAD and Primavera

Driving License:

Valid UAE Driving License

Experience:

• 2 years of UAE Experience (Preferred)

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
