Site Civil Engineer

Site Civil Engineer – Job Responsibilities (UAE)

1. Site Supervision & Execution

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities to ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, foremen, and labor teams for smooth site operations.
• Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project requirements and safety standards.

2. Surveying & Leveling

• Verify and check survey levels, layout, and alignment as per approved shop drawings.
• Coordinate with surveyors for setting out points and benchmarks at the site.
• Ensure accuracy in excavation levels, foundation, and structural elements.

3. Planning & Scheduling

• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Monitor progress against the project plan and report delays or issues to the Project Engineer or Construction Manager.
• Assist in preparing work schedules and manpower/material requirements.

4. Material Management

• Ensure timely availability of materials and verify deliveries as per specifications.
• Inspect materials on arrival and report discrepancies or damages.
• Maintain material usage records and minimize wastage.

5. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with consultants, clients, and other project stakeholders for inspections and approvals.
• Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and other disciplines to avoid site conflicts.
• Attend site meetings and prepare necessary documentation.

6. Quality Control

• Ensure all works are executed as per the approved method statements and inspection test plans (ITP).
• Conduct site inspections and raise inspection requests (IRs) for consultant approval.
• Identify non-conformities and propose corrective actions.

7. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Enforce site safety rules and ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations.
• Report incidents, near misses, or unsafe practices immediately.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work methods.

8. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site diary, manpower, equipment, and material records.
• Prepare as-built drawings and submit redline markups.
• Assist in preparing monthly progress reports and billing measurements.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
