Site Civil Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking for Site Civil Engineer to be responsible for the on-site execution, supervision, and coordination of civil construction works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and local authority requirements.

The role requires close coordination with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure that work is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.

**A mandatory requirement for this position is valid registration with Sharjah Municipality. **

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage day-to-day site construction activities for civil and structural works.

Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved shop drawings, method statements, and specifications.

Coordinate with consultants for inspections, approvals, and site queries (RFIs).

Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely execution and material delivery.

Monitor project progress and report on schedule adherence, productivity, and site issues.

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly site reports.

Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, site safety procedures, and local authority requirements.

Assist in resolving site technical issues and construction discrepancies.

Verify quantities, measurements, and executed works for interim and final valuations.

Participate in authority inspections and ensure compliance with Sharjah Municipality regulations.

• Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Support the Project Manager in achieving project milestones and handover targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1-Education & Certification

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from a recognized university.

Registered Civil Engineer with Sharjah Municipality (mandatory).

Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

2-Experience

3–5 years of UAE experience as a Site Civil Engineer with a contracting company.

Proven experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.

Strong understanding of local construction practices and authority procedures.

3-Technical Skills

Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Knowledge of site execution methodologies, construction sequencing, and materials.

Understanding of contracts, BOQs, and site measurement procedures.

4-Soft Skills & Competencies
