Job Summary:
The Site Coordinator cum Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations while handling the financial and accounting functions at the project site. This dual role ensures smooth project execution by coordinating site activities, overseeing the financial record-keeping, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:Site Coordination Duties:
- Project Management Support: Assist in coordinating all site activities and ensure smooth project execution. Maintain site schedules and assist in managing construction or operational teams.
- Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders (clients, contractors, suppliers, etc.) and the project manager.
- Logistics & Supplies: Oversee the delivery of materials, tools, and equipment to the site, ensuring timely arrival and proper handling.
- Site Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, meetings, and correspondence, ensuring they are updated regularly and shared with relevant stakeholders.
Accounting & Financial Duties:
- Budgeting: Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring costs stay within budget and reporting any discrepancies to the senior management.
- Invoice Management: Process invoices from vendors and subcontractors, ensuring that they are accurate and paid on time.
- Accounting Records: Maintain and update financial records related to site expenses, including receipts, payments, and invoices.
- Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow for site operations, ensuring that there is enough liquidity for ongoing activities.
- Payroll Management: Process payroll for site employees and ensure timely payment.
- Financial Reporting: Generate regular financial reports for project stakeholders, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other relevant financial data.
- Tax and Compliance: Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial laws, including filing necessary reports and submitting documents to relevant authorities.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing accurate financial records and documentation.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3–5 years of experience in site coordination, construction, or operations, with a strong background in accounting or finance.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with different teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills to manage both site activities and financial records accurately.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues quickly and develop practical solutions to keep the project on track.
- Knowledge of Local Regulations: Familiarity with local construction regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards is a plus.
