Job Overview:

The Site Engineer for warehouses will oversee and manage the construction of steel structural projects, particularly warehouse developments. This role involves coordinating on-site activities, ensuring project milestones are met, maintaining safety standards, and liaising with clients and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring construction aligns with designs, specifications, and timelines.

· Manage the execution of steel structural frameworks for warehouses and related facilities.

· Review and interpret structural drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

· Conduct structural assessments and provide solutions for any discrepancies or issues on-site.

· Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to achieve seamless workflow.

· Supervise on-site workers and subcontractors and ensure quality control.

· Ensure timely procurement and availability of required materials and equipment.

· Monitor usage and maintain proper inventory records.

· Enforce adherence to safety regulations and procedures on-site.

· Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.

· Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project management.

· Highlight any delays, risks, or changes to project scope.

· Monitor the quality of steel fabrication and installation work.

· Ensure adherence to industry standards and project specifications.

· Assist in budget preparation and monitor project expenses.

· Suggest cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in steel structural construction, with a focus on warehouses.
• Proven track record of managing medium- to large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in design and analysis tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla, STAAD Pro).
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, welding processes, and material standards.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
