Site Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee the renovation of a high-end villa. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in residential construction and renovation, with a hands-on approach to managing site operations, contractors, timelines, and quality control. You will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations for the villa renovation.
• Supervise subcontractors, laborers, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality execution of tasks.
• Ensure work is carried out according to architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Monitor project progress and provide daily/weekly updates to the Project Manager.
• Manage site logistics, including deliveries, materials storage, and site cleanliness.
• Enforce health and safety protocols on-site in compliance with local regulations.
• Resolve any site issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
• Perform regular quality control checks to ensure high standards are maintained.
• Maintain accurate records, including site diaries, inspections, and materials usage.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and interior designers as needed.
• Assist in budgeting and procurement processes when required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in residential/villa renovation projects.
• Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure.
• Proficient in using basic computer software (e.g., MS Office, construction apps).
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license and own transportation (if required).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with luxury or heritage villa renovations.
• Familiarity with local building codes and permit processes.
• Multilingual abilities (if working in a diverse team environment).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
