Site Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Site Engineer with hands-on experience in Water Supply Projects, including Water Treatment Plants (WTPs), Intake Structures, Overhead Tanks (OHTs), and Pipeline Networks. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, site management expertise, and excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively coordinate between field teams, contractors, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure timely and quality execution of works as per project specifications and drawings.
• Manage and oversee construction of WTPs, Intake Wells, OHTs, and Transmission/Distribution Pipelines.
• Ensure adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for smooth project progress.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and maintain project documentation.
• Plan and schedule manpower, materials, and equipment requirements for efficient site operations.
• Assist in resolving technical issues, design conflicts, and site challenges.
• Monitor and control project costs to avoid overruns.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Lead and motivate site teams, ensuring discipline, teamwork, and productivity.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure clarity in project goals and progress.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of water supply systems, WTP process units, OHT construction, and pipeline laying methods.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and teams effectively.
• Familiarity with MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
• Strong focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
