Role Objectives:
The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising on-site maintenance, renovation, and infrastructure works across multiple operating points. This role ensures that projects and maintenance activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and company standards. The Site Engineer plays a key role in coordinating contractors, monitoring quality, and providing technical support to maintain and enhance site functionality.
Roles & Responsibilities:

On-Site Supervision & Execution:

Supervise daily site activities related to maintenance, renovation, civil works, and infrastructure upgrades.

Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.

Verify material delivery, proper storage, and usage in alignment with project requirements.

Coordination & Communication:

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Communicate site issues promptly to the Infrastructure & Maintenance Manager and propose actionable solutions.

Support the Technical Office Engineer by providing accurate site measurements and feedback for design updates.

Quality Control & Compliance:

Conduct routine site inspections to identify deviations, defects, or safety violations.

Monitor contractor performance, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and scope of work.

Project & Maintenance Support:

Support in implementing preventive and corrective maintenance activities across facilities.

Assist in tracking site work progress against project schedules and report delays or risks.

Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports, including photos, quantities, and completion status.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate site logs, inspection forms, contractor attendance, and material tracking records.

Escalate any technical or operational challenges requiring management attention.
Required Education, Knowledge, and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in electromechanical engineering.

2–5 years of experience in site supervision, maintenance projects, and electrical engineering.

Solid understanding of construction processes, finishing work, materials, and safety regulations.

Proficiency in using project tracking and management software (e.g., Trello, Asana, MS Project, or similar)

High flexibility and willingness to travel between sites on a daily basis, both inside and outside Cairo.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and familiarity with CMMS systems is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor multiple activities simultaneously.

Good communication and coordination skills for engaging contractors and cross-functional teams.

Ability to work in dynamic environments with willingness to travel across operational sites.
