Ivory architectural consulatancy is a dynamic firm specializing in high-quality design and construction for a diverse range of projects. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Site Engineer to join our team immediately and contribute to the successful execution of our residential, commercial, and villa projects.
Key Responsibilities
The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the daily on-site operations and ensuring that all construction work is executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications and drawings. Key responsibilities include:
- Site Management & Supervision:
- Supervising and managing all on-site construction activities, including setting out, leveling, and surveying.
- Ensuring work is carried out to the required quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinating with subcontractors, material suppliers, and the project management team.
- Quality & Safety Control:
- Monitoring and enforcing site safety regulations and procedures.
- Conducting quality checks on materials and workmanship at various stages of construction.
- Preparing site reports, daily logs, and documentation on progress and quality.
- Technical Implementation:
- Interpreting architectural and structural drawings and ensuring their correct implementation on-site.
- Identifying and resolving any technical issues or discrepancies that arise during construction.
- Calculating and verifying quantities of materials required for site work.
- Coordination & Reporting:
- Liaising with the Project Manager/Architects to report on progress, delays, and any deviations from the plan.
- Assisting in the inspection and handover process upon project completion.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum one (1) year of professional experience working as a Site Engineer, preferably on residential, commercial, or villa projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings (Architectural, Structural, MEP).
- Competency with surveying equipment (e.g., Total Station, Auto Level).
- Personal Attributes:
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive attitude and a commitment to quality and safety.
