Site Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the fit-out contracting and/or interior design industry in Dubai, with hands-on experience (minimum:3yrs) in managing site activities, supervising labor, and ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards .Should have a driver's license and own a car.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision:

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities to ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
• Monitor site labor, subcontractors, and ongoing works including carpentry, joinery, gypsum, painting, tiling, and other interior finishes.
• Ensure proper allocation of manpower and resources to meet daily and weekly targets.
• Report daily site progress to the Project Engineer/Project Manager.

Project Execution:

• Read and interpret drawings and ensure accurate implementation on site.
• Assist in planning work schedules and sequencing of activities.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly to avoid delays.
• Ensure materials are available on-site as per project requirements and timelines.

Quality Control:

• Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain high-quality workmanship.
• Identify defects and ensure timely rectification.
• Maintain a zero-defect mindset throughout execution.

Health & Safety:

• Enforce all safety rules and regulations on-site.
• Ensure workers use proper PPE and follow safe work practices.
• Conduct basic safety briefings and toolbox talks when required.
• Report any accidents or unsafe conditions immediately to management.

Coordination:

• Coordinate closely with Project Engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure smooth communication between all parties involved in the project.
• Assist in managing deliveries and site logistics efficiently.

Material & Resource Management:

• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
• Assist in checking delivered materials against specifications and quantities.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of materials on site.

Reporting:

• Maintain daily site reports including manpower, work progress, and issues.
• Highlight delays, risks, or material shortages to the management team.
• Keep records of site activities, inspections, and approvals where required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,500.00 per month
