Site Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced and proactive Senior Site Engineer to oversee on-site operations for major construction projects in Cairo. In this role, you will manage all technical and operational aspects of the site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and according to the highest quality standards.

You will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, consultants, and site teams while providing technical leadership and resolving engineering challenges efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations, including construction activities and workforce management.
• Ensure all work is executed according to engineering drawings, project specifications, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with timelines.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and material requirements.
• Prepare and review site reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards across the site.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff.

Job Requirements

• Experience: 8–10 years of proven experience as a Site Engineer, including at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and project management software such as MS Project and Primavera.
• Certifications: Professional Engineering license (P.E. or equivalent) is highly preferred.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Languages: Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
• Location: Candidates must be based in Cairo or willing to relocate.
