Site Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety regulations while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services, fostering strong professional relationships.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays and ensure compliance with plans.
• Prepare detailed daily reports, documenting site activities and progress, and communicate effectively with project stakeholders to keep everyone informed.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules, providing input on resource allocation and forecasting potential risks to project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations, conducting necessary inspections and obtaining required permits for construction activities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for site-related queries, addressing concerns from clients, architects, and engineers with professionalism and clarity.
• Manage site health and safety protocols, leading safety briefings and ensuring all personnel are trained and compliant with safety standards.
• Support the project manager in the planning and execution of construction methodologies, contributing to innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and site staff, fostering an environment of learning and growth while promoting teamwork and collaboration.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, providing a strong foundation in engineering principles and practices.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on marble industry experience, demonstrating a strong track record in marble installation, fabrication, finishing, and project execution.
• Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project) to aid in planning and execution.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically under pressure and develop effective solutions on-the-fly.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate project requirements and facilitate collaboration among teams.
• Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus, especially for international projects or diverse teams.
