ob Description – Site Engineer (Aluminium & Glass Contracting)

Position Title: Site Engineer
Department: Projects / Installation
Reporting To: Project Manager

Role Purpose:

To manage, coordinate, and supervise aluminium and glass installation works at project sites, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery in line with approved drawings, specifications, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Execution & Coordination
• Plan and oversee site activities for aluminium, glazing, and façade works.
• Ensure execution as per shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors.
• Technical & Quality Control
• Verify dimensions and conditions at site before installation.
• Monitor installation quality to ensure compliance with design, standards, and safety.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams and resolve engineering issues.
• Ensure correct handling and installation of branded systems (Alumil, Gutmann, Schüco, Reynaers, etc.).
• Documentation & Reporting
• Prepare daily progress reports, material requests, and site correspondence.
• Maintain records of inspections, tests, and approvals.
• Report delays, variations, or site issues to management.
• Resource Management
• Allocate manpower, tools, and equipment efficiently.
• Coordinate with stores/purchase for material deliveries.
• Monitor productivity and minimize wastage.
• Health, Safety & Compliance
• Ensure site safety regulations and company HSE policies are followed.
• Conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments.
• Liaise with safety officers to rectify non-compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Architectural Engineering.
• 1-2 experience in aluminium & glass façade/doors/windows projects.
• Prior experience in systems such as Alumil, Gutmann, Schüco, Reynaers (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of shop drawings, façade systems, and installation methods.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE Driving License is Mandatory
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office; knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED3,500.00 per month
