Site Engineer (Civil)

Job Title: Site Fit-Out / Interior Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Fit-Out / Interior Engineer with hands-on site experience to oversee and coordinate interior fit-out works. The role involves managing daily site operations, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, ensuring quality control, and delivering the project within the timeline and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure execution as per approved plans.

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of works.

• Monitor and ensure adherence to quality standards, materials, and workmanship.

• Prepare and maintain site reports, checklists, and progress documentation.

• Conduct site inspections and quality checks at various stages of the project.

• Identify and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies at the site.

• Track project timelines and provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager.

• Ensure safety compliance and proper housekeeping on-site.

• Assist in quantity take-offs and verification of subcontractor invoices/work done.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant site experience in interior fit-out projects (commercial, retail, hospitality, or residential).

• Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of interior fit-out materials, finishes, joinery, partitions, MEP coordination, etc.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of MS Project and MS Office.

• Familiarity with project documentation, QA/QC procedures, and site safety protocols.
