Site Engineer (Civil)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer – Civil Construction to oversee and manage day-to-day site activities, ensuring all construction work is executed in compliance with design specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and timelines. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and on-site experience in civil infrastructure or building construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor construction activities at the project site to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on work progress and site conditions.
• Ensure proper implementation of quality control and safety procedures.
• Interpret structural and architectural drawings and provide technical guidance to site teams.
• Monitor usage of materials and ensure no wastage or misuse.
• Assist in planning and scheduling work to meet deadlines.
• Ensure proper documentation of site activities, inspections, and material tests.
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties or problems on site.
• Liaise with government authorities and inspection teams when required.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance at all stages of construction.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in civil construction projects (residential, commercial, or infrastructure).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Working knowledge of project management tools and MS Office (AutoCAD knowledge is a plus).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities simultaneously.

Preferred Attributes

• Knowledge of modern construction techniques and materials.
• Familiarity with local construction laws and safety standards.
• Experience in site execution, estimation, and billing will be an added advantage.
