ROLLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF SITE ENGINEER

• Designing and planning of civil engineering projects: Senior civil engineers are responsible for designing and planning of civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, and other infrastructure projects.
• · Supervising junior engineers and technicians: Senior civil engineers often lead and manage teams of junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance and mentorship as they work on the project.
• · Managing project schedules and budgets: Senior civil engineers are responsible for managing project schedules and budgets, ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.
• · Coordinating with other professionals: Senior civil engineers often work closely with architects, surveyors, and other professionals to ensure that the project is meeting the needs of the client and the community.
• · Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations: Senior civil engineers are responsible for ensuring that the project is compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
• · Managing project risks: Senior civil engineers are responsible for identifying and managing project risks, including safety risks, financial risks, and other potential issues that could impact the project.
• · Overseeing construction: Senior civil engineers often oversee the construction of the project, ensuring that the work is being done according to the plans and specifications.
• · Providing technical expertise: Senior civil engineers often provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team, and make decisions that support the successful completion of the project.
