Site Engineer (Civil)

Job Description – Site Engineer (Highway & Bridge Projects)

Location: Vapi, Gujarat

Industry: Infrastructure / Highway / Bridge / NHAI Projects

Experience Required: 4 to 6 Years

Salary Range: Rs. 30,000 – Rs. 35,000 per month (Negotiable as per experience and interview)

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering (B.E / B.Tech / DCE)

- Certification related to Highway / Bridge construction will be an added advantage

Job Responsibilities

- Execution and supervision of highway, bridge, and road works as per approved drawings and specifications

- Ensure compliance with NHAI standards, IRC codes, and project quality requirements

- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and site staff

- Monitor daily site activities, manpower, machinery, and material usage

- Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, site records, and measurement books (MB)

- Ensure work is carried out as per safety norms and quality standards

- Assist in planning, scheduling, and timely completion of project activities

- Identify and resolve site-related technical issues

- Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections and approvals

- Support billing and documentation related to executed quantities

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of highway and bridge construction practices

- Hands-on experience in NHAI projects

- Good understanding of drawings, BOQs, and specifications

- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office

- Strong communication and coordination skills

- Ability to work independently at site
