Site Engineer – Construction, Procurement & Quantity Surveying

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Site Engineer with strong experience in site supervision, subcontracting, procurement, and quantity take-offs. The ideal candidate must have excellent market knowledge to source subcontractors, obtain competitive quotations, and manage project costs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily construction site activities
• Ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and project timelines
• Source and coordinate subcontractors for various works
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Handle material purchasing and ensure timely delivery to site
• Prepare and verify quantity take-offs and material requirements
• Monitor project costs and assist in budget control
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations
• Prepare daily reports on site progress, materials, and manpower

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer in construction projects
• Strong knowledge of local market (suppliers, subcontractors, pricing)
• Experience in procurement, subcontracting, and cost estimation
• Ability to calculate quantities and prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
• Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to read and write in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience in residential, commercial, or fit-out projects
• UAE experience is an advantage
