Site Engineer – Facility Maintenance (Civil & Mechanical)

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Site Engineer – Facility Maintenance to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations across civil, mechanical, and related systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of building maintenance, including civil works (plastering, masonry, tiling, painting) as well as mechanical systems (pumps, plumbing, HVAC basics, and firefighting systems). This role requires someone who can manage technicians, supervise sites, inspect works, and ensure smooth operations of facility assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute maintenance activities across civil and mechanical systems in residential, commercial, or mixed-use facilities.
• Inspect sites, identify faults, and propose appropriate repair or maintenance solutions.
• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Manage on-site technicians and subcontractors to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
• Monitor work progress, ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Liaise with clients or property managers to understand service needs and update them on work status.
• Ensure materials and tools are available for assigned jobs; raise purchase requests if needed.
• Maintain daily work reports, site inspection records, and asset condition logs.
• Support the estimation team with BOQs and site assessments during proposal stages.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in facility maintenance, with hands-on exposure to both civil and mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, drainage, masonry, painting, carpentry, and mechanical equipment.
• Familiarity with HVAC basics, pumps, firefighting systems, and general building systems.
• Proven ability to manage teams and multiple maintenance tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use basic inspection tools.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.

Pay: AED 4,000 to 5,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)
