Site Engineer – Food Industry Projects

Job Summary:
ElEsseily Group Holding is seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Site Engineer to join our engineering team in the construction and execution of a Food Processing Industrial Facility specialized in Meat Processing, Frozen Vegetables, Cold Storage, and Industrial Refrigeration Systems.

The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising on-site construction activities, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, monitoring execution quality, and ensuring compliance with industrial food safety and refrigeration standards throughout all project phases.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience within Food Industry Construction Projects, Industrial Refrigeration Facilities, or Cold Chain Infrastructure Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily site execution activities and monitor project progress according to approved timelines and specifications
• Coordinate with MEP teams, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and project stakeholders
• Review and interpret Shop Drawings, IFC Drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and food industry construction requirements
• Monitor installation and execution of refrigeration systems, cold storage areas, insulated panels, and industrial finishes
• Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare technical progress reports
• Ensure proper implementation of hygienic construction standards within food production environments

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Food Industry Projects or Industrial Construction Projects
• Previous experience in one or more of the following environments is highly preferred:
• Food Processing Factories
• Cold Storage Facilities
• Industrial Refrigeration Projects
• Industrial EPC Contractors
• MEP Contractors specialized in Food Industry Projects
• Cold Chain Logistics Facilities

Technical Knowledge & Preferred Experience:

• Industrial Refrigeration Systems
• Blast Freezer & Cold Room Construction
• Cold Chain Logistics Infrastructure
• Food Safety Compliance Standards
• Hygienic Design Standards
• Clean Room Construction
• Epoxy Flooring Systems
• Insulated Sandwich Panels & PU Panels

Core Skills:

• Quality Control & Site Supervision

Software & Technical Skills:

• AutoCAD
• Microsoft Excel
• MS Office Applications
• Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera is a plus
