Site Engineer- Joinery Team

Job Objectives/Responsibilities:

· Preparation of the installation works for the projects in coordination with the PM/Clients work program

· Coordinating work activities with site supervisor/factory to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget

· Scheduling staff time efficiently to ensure that all project goals are met within specified time frames

· Monitoring the progress of projects to ensure that contractors are meeting deadlines and adhering to specifications

· Coordinating with other team members to ensure that all aspects of a project are completed on time.

· Scheduling & organising working time for the workers and site allocation.

· Assigning duties to workers depending on the materials delivered, organizing the workflow.

· Prepare substantial completion certificates and ensure all required project close out documents are obtained.

· Ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner

· Checking the material delivered to site & Ensure logistics operation is followed as scheduled

· Supervising workers, subcontractors and work activities.

· Taking Site Measurements, whenever required.

· Ensuring installations are properly coordinated among production and delivery.

· Preparation of Material request as per the site requirements with store keeper and Factory Coordinator/ Factory Foreman.

· Preparing and maintain Daily Man hour report for all sites.

· Coordinating with Factory Manager for the site required materials, measurements and delivery of materials.

· Coordinating and communicating with Draftsman for the site measurements & drawings according to the site conditions.

· Coordinating with Main contractor's rep. & Consultant at site.

· Attending site management meetings and ensuring installation is carried out accurately.

· Recognize and solve potential problems and evaluate project/program effectiveness. Prepare and review project reports for presentation to the top Management

· Helping and Communicating project progress with Project Manager to plan the work execution accurately.

· Providing training to crew members on safety precautions, company policies, and job skills

· Managing safety procedures on sites to ensure workers safety

· Be responsible for the dress code of the worker at site and their behavior.

· Be responsible for the site to be in order and clean (related to SI scope of work)

Authorities:

· Authority to issue warning to Site workers and Foreman if required.

· Authority to Hold the work based on Site Condition.

Competence Evaluation:

· Good knowledge of production (joinery) and installation (joinery & fit-out ) procedures.

· Technically sound, Strategic planning skills, Analytical and extremely detail-oriented.

· Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to adjust quickly, should there be changes in work priorities.

· Well presented and Professional

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to motivate, develope, and lead associates and subordinates

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Ability to Plan and Organize site activities

Academic Qualifications:

· Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering

· 5+ years of experience in handling similar role.

Pay: From AED7,000.00 per month
