SITE ENGINEER - MEP

Job Title: Site Engineer – MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) Experience Required: Minimum 10 Years Location: DUBAI Department: MEP / Projects Reporting To: MEP Project Manager / Project Engineer Job Summary:

The Site Engineer – MEP is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and executing all MEP works (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting) at project sites. The role ensures that all installations are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards while meeting quality and timeline targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage MEP installation works including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, and fit-out teams for proper integration of MEP services.
• Monitor daily site activities, manpower, and progress against schedule.
• Ensure material delivery and installation as per approved materials and standards.
• Conduct site inspections and testing to verify workmanship and quality compliance.
• Identify and resolve technical and coordination issues at site.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for inspections and approvals.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and practices.
• Assist in the commissioning, testing, and handover of MEP systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP installation, coordination, and supervision (preferably within the GCC).
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project scheduling tools (MS Project / Primavera).
• Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple site activities.

Preferred:

• UAE or GCC experience in building construction or interior fit-out projects.
• Familiarity with local authority standards and approval procedures (DEWA, DCD, etc.).
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
