Site Engineer – Steel Structure / Structural Works

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer with a strong background in Structural Steel Fabrication and Erection to oversee and manage on-site activities. The ideal candidate should have experience handling steel structure installation, site coordination, manpower supervision, and project execution in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise structural steel erection, installation, and alignment activities at site.
• Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, project specifications, and method statements.
• Coordinate with main contractor, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progress.
• Monitor daily site activities, manpower deployment, and equipment utilization.
• Plan and manage site schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with project standards during steel erection works.
• Handle site measurements, material inspections, and progress reporting.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during fabrication and installation.
• Ensure site safety procedures and HSE guidelines are followed by all workers.
• Attend site meetings with main contractors and consultants and provide project updates.
• Prepare daily progress reports, work schedules, and site documentation.
• Coordinate with fabrication yard and logistics team for timely material delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Structural Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in structural steel fabrication and erection projects.
• Experience in PEB structures, steel structures, metal works, or industrial projects will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of structural drawings, erection procedures, and site execution.
• Ability to manage site teams, subcontractors, and project timelines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• UAE / GCC experience will be an advantage.
