Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction finishing works.
• Strong knowledge of finishing materials, installation methods, and quality requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and finishing schedules.
• Good leadership and manpower management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with teams and management.
• Ability to handle pressure and complete tasks within deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all finishing works on site including painting, tiling, carpentry, false ceiling, MEP finishing, and final touches.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and workers to ensure timely completion of finishing activities.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Plan daily tasks, allocate manpower, and ensure sufficient materials and tools are available.
• Inspect work progress and resolve any technical or site-related issues promptly.
• Maintain strong quality control over finishing details to ensure high-end workmanship.
• Monitor and enforce safety rules, PPE compliance, and proper housekeeping on-site.
• Report daily progress, manpower deployment, material requirements, and site issues to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.
• Check and verify measurements for material requests and subcontractor billing.
• Ensure that mock-ups, samples, and approvals are followed before proceeding with work.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure services do not conflict with finishing elements.
• Manage and control wastage of materials and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Conduct snagging and de-snagging works and ensure all finishing defects are corrected.
• Assist in preparing the site for inspections, QA/QC checks, and handover stages.
