Site Manager – Electrical

Location: Oman
Industry: Construction / MEP / Infrastructure / Oil & Gas

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead all electrical site activities from mobilization to project handover
• Plan, organize, and monitor execution of electrical works as per drawings, specifications, and project schedule
• Coordinate with Project Manager, consultants, clients, and subcontractors
• Supervise site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and technicians
• Ensure compliance with Oman electrical codes, HSE standards, and project quality requirements
• Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals
• Control project progress, manpower deployment, and productivity
• Monitor testing, commissioning, snag clearance, and final handover
• Manage site issues, variations, and coordination with other disciplines (MEP / Civil)
• Prepare weekly & monthly progress reports and attend coordination meetings
• Ensure materials, tools, and resources are available on site as per work plan

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 7–12 years of experience in electrical projects (Gulf experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems, substations, panels, cabling, lighting, earthing, and ELV
• Experience managing large teams and multiple subcontractors
• Familiar with Oman standards, MEDC / DEWA / PDO / Utility authority regulations
• Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office and project reporting
