Site Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for candidate for Mechanical Engineer to be based in Abu Dhabi/Dubai.

Candidate must have experience in Water and Waste Water Treatment field. Tasks will include but not limited to:

Design, Process definition, Conceptual, Preliminary and Detailed Design (liquid, sludge and odour stream design, preparation of P&ID's, Layouts, Process Flow Diagrams etc.) estimating, reviewing, commissioning, operation and process optimization.

Key accountabilities for this position are:

• Works on all sizes of wastewater projects and lead multi-disciplinary teams through planning, design and construction for wastewater clients in multi-disciplinary Teams.
• Design according to local utilities rules, regulations and design guides;
• Perform engineering calculations and prepare detailed design drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with Electrical Engineers, Architects, Civil Engineers and Structural Engineers and any other external design consultant;
• Gather information, develop and evaluate alternatives, and prepare engineering reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Holding B.E ( Mechanical or Chemical ) with experience in process design and basic engineering of desalination plants, water treatment plants, sewage treatment, industrial effluent treatment and reuse.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience
• Experience in design of physical/chemical water treatment.
• Familiarity in site construction documentation
• Excellent in team management
