What You Will Do?
As Site Project Manager, you will be responsible for deliver projects through effective oversight, governance, financial control, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective outcomes.
Project Engineering

Manage daily project activities, resources, and project team meetings.

Consolidate, interpret, and ensure compliance with end‑user requirements.

Develop and manage scopes of work, technical specifications, tender documents, and related engineering documentation.

Review designs to ensure adherence to “Safety in Design” principles.
-
Conduct prequalification and evaluation of vendors, consultants, and contractors.
-
Provide expert civil engineering guidance throughout design and tender processes.
-
Ensure design and construction comply with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

Manage project scope, variations, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
PMO Documentation & Reporting

Develop and maintain PMO documentation within the PPM system.

Maintain the Project Organization Breakdown Structure and Stakeholder Register.

Prepare, maintain, and control detailed project schedules.
-
Create and update project assumptions, constraints, risks, issues, and change logs.
-
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and project cost reports.
-
Maintain a comprehensive record of lessons learned.
Financial Management
-
Prepare estimates and detailed project budgets supporting AFEs for all phases.

Monitor project expenditures using Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.

Ensure financial activities comply with business processes and governance requirements.

Review, amend, and approve payments to consultants and contractors.
Governance & Compliance
-
Coordinate with GPPMD to implement strategic direction across assigned projects.

Maintain the online Project Portfolio Management System.

Ensure all procurement activities follow business processes and contractual obligations.

Manage project and program expectations while integrating deliverables across stakeholder groups.

Support dispute resolution, negotiation, arbitration, or litigation as required.

Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks.
-
Oversee permits, approvals, and licensing processes.
-
Ensure adherence to QA/QC standards, as well as environmental, health, and safety requirements.

Maintain professionalism and integrity across all project interactions.
Reporting & Communication

Establish systems that ensure accurate information flow to all project stakeholders.

Act as an ambassador for DP World, consistently promoting our principles, values, and culture.

Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality or fit‑for‑purpose outcomes.
What You Will Bring?
Qualifications and Other Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
-
PMP certification or postgraduate qualification in Project Management.
-
Strong knowledge of structured PM frameworks (PMI / PMBOK 6th Ed).
-
20+ years of experience in project management from concept through handover.
-
Proven track record leading large project implementation teams.
-
Extensive experience delivering major civil engineering and infrastructure projects, including quay walls.
-
Strong background in civil design, construction standards, Pakistani Standards, and FIDIC contract forms.
-
Advanced technical and project management capabilities.
-
Proficiency in scheduling and software tools (MS Office, AutoCAD, MS Project).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-
Expertise in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and cost control.
