Site Supervisor – Head Start Preschool & Early Head Start

Are you passionate about early childhood education and ready to lead a team making a real difference in children’s lives?
Human Services, Inc. is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead the daily operations of a Head Start center, supporting teachers, engaging families, and ensuring high-quality, compliant, and nurturing learning environments for young children.
This is a leadership role where you’ll coach educators, strengthen classroom quality, and directly impact school readiness for children and families in your community.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and oversee daily center operations to ensure high-quality early childhood education
- Coach and support teachers through observation, feedback, and professional development
- Ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and state licensing requirements
- Promote positive classroom environments using social-emotional practices like Conscious Discipline
- Monitor classroom quality, child outcomes, and program data to drive continuous improvement
- Support family engagement and build strong relationships with families and community partners
- Maintain safe environments, proper ratios, and active supervision at all times
- Assist with hiring, training, and leading staff at your site
- Step into classrooms as needed to support continuity of care

What You Bring
- Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) with 12 ECE credits (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
- Experience in early childhood, social services, or a related field
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance
- Ability to travel locally between centers
- Ability to meet physical requirements (including lifting up to 50 lbs and active classroom participation)
- Ability to pass required background checks, drug screen, and obtain CPR/First Aid certification
Schedule
- Full-time, exempt position
- Monday–Friday (occasional extended hours as needed)

Pay: $49,504.00 - $53,747.00 per year
