Position Title: Site Survey Engineer
Department: Civil / Projects
Reporting To: Project Manager / Site In-Charge
Role Purpose:
The Site Survey Engineer is responsible for carrying out land, site, and structural surveys using modern survey equipment. The role ensures accurate measurement, layout, and leveling works at project sites to support civil construction and infrastructure development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Survey & Measurement
- Operate survey instruments such as Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and Theodolite.
- Conduct land/topographical surveys, boundary marking, and site leveling.
- Prepare accurate measurements, coordinates, and layout markings for foundations, structures, and utilities.
- Site Layout & Execution Support
- Provide reference points, grid lines, and benchmarks for civil and structural works.
- Ensure construction works are executed according to approved drawings and alignment.
- Cross-check measurements during excavation, foundation, and structural activities.
- Data Recording & Reporting
- Record field survey data and prepare survey reports, sketches, and drawings.
- Maintain calibration records and proper care of survey instruments.
- Submit daily/weekly reports to the Project Manager.
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all surveying activities comply with project specifications and standards.
- Verify contractor/third-party survey works and certify accuracy.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies between design drawings and site conditions.
- Coordination
- Work closely with site engineers, civil contractors, and project teams for smooth execution.
- Liaise with consultants/clients during site inspections and verification.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Hands-on experience in handling Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and other survey equipment.
- Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, coordinate systems, and leveling.
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings.
- Proficiency in survey-related software (AutoCAD, GIS, or equivalent).
- Good communication and reporting skills.
Experience Level:
- Mid-Level: 3–6 years (as Site Survey Engineer)

Pay: ₹11,783.77 - ₹34,681.18 per month
