Job Title: Skilled Barista (Specialty Coffee)

Monthly Salary: QAR 2,300 to QAR 2,800 (based on knowledge and skills) PLUS company provided shared accommodation, to and from work transportation, and 1 duty meal

Job Summary: The Barista is a skilled craftsperson responsible for the consistent, high-quality preparation of all specialty coffee and beverages. This role demands technical mastery of espresso equipment, artistic flair in latte art, and the ability to work cleanly and efficiently under pressure. The Barista is key to delivering the premium product quality that defines our luxury brand.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve standard coffee drinks (espresso, Americano, latte) accurately and consistently, following established recipes.
• Assist the Senior Barista with grinding, dosing, and tamping, ensuring proper extraction and minimizing waste.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all barista equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and work surfaces.
• Manage and replenish coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other bar ingredients during the shift.
• Receive and process guest orders at the counter, ensuring accuracy and handling payments through the POS system.
• Maintain a neat, organized, and hygienic counter and preparation area, strictly adhering to Saudi health codes.
• Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory and supplies delivered to the cafe.
• Learn and adhere to all café service and presentation standards, focusing on speed and quality.
• Actively communicate with the service team regarding order preparation status, especially during rush hours.
• Engage in continuous training and self-development to improve coffee knowledge and preparation techniques.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of recent, dedicated experience as a Barista in a high-volume, specialty coffee shop or luxury cafe environment.
• Proven advanced technical ability in espresso extraction, milk texturing, and executing various forms of latte art. Certification or strong expertise in specialty coffee is highly regarded.
• Comprehensive knowledge of different coffee beans, brew methods, and quality control procedures. Must demonstrate the ability to maintain speed and efficiency without compromising product quality during peak hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR2,300.00 - QAR2,800.00 per month
