Skilled Custom Wedding Cake Decorator at Delicious Cakes!

Delicious Cakes! in Addison, TX, is looking for one full-time skilled custom/wedding cake decorator to join our 12-person strong team. We are located at 14819 Inwood Rd. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable.

Qualifications:

• Be able to decorate multi-tiered custom wedding cakes.
• Be able to attack a creative 3-D custom fondant cake with no fear
• Strong organization skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen
• Excellent work ethic - be on time to work, clock out on time, and be able to manage time like you mean it
• Deadline-oriented, leadership, and recognize details with orders
• Food Handler certified -current
• Minimum 1+ years of custom cake decorating experience
• Must show portfolio of great works in wedding cakes & custom cakes
• Being bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus
• Current driver's license

Responsibilities:

• Decorate wedding cakes and custom cakes to detail daily during the operation time
• Work and create structural custom cakes using Fondant, decoration props, and toppers.
• Be able to pipe and write buttercream messages beautifully on a cake
• Be able to deliver wedding cake as a team for the delivery crew when necessary.
• Help the BOH team with cleaning & organizing the kitchen area daily
• Be able to work on small dessert bar tems like cupcake, cakeballs, tarts, etc
• Teamwork, following order direction, working together with the in-house team, and the store management team to deliver outstanding finished products on time.
